Threats can be catagorised into:

• Internal (within an organisation)
• External (outside an organisation)

Internal threats include:

• Unprofessional, disgruntled employees
• Corrupted filesystems/hardware
• Network failiure

External threats include:

• Crackers/hackers
• Viruses
